How Does The Online Audio Mastering Process Work?
Fill out my contact form. We connect.
We can start right away or you can request a sample. Either way:
- You’ll receive a link to upload your files.
- You'll get some short version sample masters back.
- You'll have the option to request up to 2 revisions, if necessary.
Should we be a good fit with each other and you’re happy with everything, we then talk about all your project’s needs.
We'll work out all the details:
- Delivery formats (wav; FLAC files, mp3; etc.)
- Media (CD; DDP)
- Alternative files (backing track masters; radio edit versions; etc.)
- Meta-data (ISRC codes, lyrics, images, songwriter/artist info, etc.)
- Additional work such as editing or restoration
- A final price based on our rates.

When we have all the details sorted and are in agreement, then...
The Work Begins...
Communication and consultation are crucial now! You should be available by messaging, email, or phone if I need to contact you. This is to help keep your project on schedule.
When your files are received, I listen to everything carefully.
- If there are any problems, I’ll contact you immediately.
- You'll be kept up to date on every stage of the project
- Sample excerpts are sent for pre-approval.
- For CD projects, you’ll receive samples with CD pauses included.
- Revisions can be requested anytime.
- You’ll
receive a preview copy of the CD PQ Track Sheet with your CD text
and codes to proof-read .
This is a critical
stage in the mastering process.
Remember:
You’ll pay nothing if you’re not happy with anything.
You have my guarantee.
Finalizing Everything
Once you've approved everything, you make your payment.
When your payment is received you'll get all your masters in the formats you asked for. You'll also receive:
- Documents for your replicator.
- A completed invoice/receipt for your records.
If you have any problem, you simply contact me.
